Stop Surge is a Lightning and Surge Protection installer that works in strict accordance with the SABS AND SANS CODE OF STANDARDS

We do Testing and Certification on existing Lightning Conductors for Insurance approval

In the industry for more than 12 years

Why do you need a lightning conducter?

Years ago, before the television and computer age, the only devices that we had connected to our
electrical supply were stoves, fridges and Hi-Fi’s.

These devices were few and were only connected
to one vulnerable part namely mains power. Things have since changed drastically and most
appliances and electronics are now digitally controlled by sensitive microchips.

In our lounges, we have, not only television sets but also decoders, DVD players, and complex Hi-Fi
systems. In our spare rooms or studies we have powerful computers that are connected to
telephone and network lines.

Modern day appliances and electronics are in itself more sensitive and are connected to power, telecom and antenna lines. These are all entry points for lightning and
surge events.

Thatch Roofed Buildings also require a SABS Lightning Conductor to prevent Fire hazard
