Since 2009, Stop Surge has completed lightning conductor installations on homes, businesses and industrial sites across South Africa. The photos below show some of our recent work.
What we install
- Lightning masts and air termination rods for tall or free-standing structures, thatch-roof homes and high-risk areas
- Mesh systems (Faraday cage method) for flat or large roofs and commercial or industrial buildings
- Earth bonding, connecting the conductive parts of a structure to a common ground
- Testing and certification of existing lightning conductors for insurance approval
- Weather stations and lightning detection systems for real-time data and early warnings
Every system we install is designed in compliance with SABS and SANS codes of standards, and tested to ensure compliance with the required resistance levels.
